Acceptance & Monitoring
Qualitative Interviews and quantitative survey with selected stakeholders in the “Line 13” project context.

Involved members

The autonomous minibus of “STL Line 13” operates from Monday to Saturday, ferrying passengers between Nord Station and the Steel Foundry. This pilot is part of a comprehensive study on the acceptance of automated vehicles. Stakeholder interviews with representatives from politics, authorities, associations, academia, and industry were conducted before the operation started, gathering a wide range of perspectives on the subject. At the beginning of the operation, the population of Schaffhausen had the opportunity to participate in a collective dialogue on “automated driving,” sharing their ideas, wishes, questions, and concerns. Next, in late September 2023, the STL will conduct direct surveys with pedestrians. The results will contribute to the overarching acceptance study, providing valuable insights for the future development of mobility services in Schaffhausen and across Switzerland.
